This notice explains how Lotus handles your personal information while we're in our pre-launch phase. Right now, the only personal data we collect is what you give us when you join our waitlist.

Who we are

Lotus ("we", "us") is building a platform for creating digital South Asian wedding invitations. For any privacy question, contact us at hello@lotusinvites.com.

Information we collect

• Waitlist details — your name and email address, and the date you gave consent, when you join the waitlist.
• Basic usage data — we use privacy-friendly analytics that measure page visits without cookies and without identifying you personally.

How we use it, and our legal basis

We use your name and email solely to email you about Lotus — most importantly, to tell you when we launch. Our legal basis under UK GDPR is your consent, which you give by ticking the box on the waitlist form. You can withdraw it at any time.

Who we share it with

We don't sell your data. We share it only with the service providers that help us run the waitlist, who process it on our behalf:

• Neon — secure database hosting for the waitlist.
• Resend — sends our waitlist emails.
• Vercel — hosting and privacy-friendly analytics.

How long we keep it

We keep your waitlist details until we launch and have told you about it, or until you unsubscribe — whichever comes first. When you unsubscribe we stop emailing you, and we'll delete your details on request.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask to access, correct or delete your data, withdraw consent, or object to how we use it. To do any of these, email hello@lotusinvites.com. You also have the right to complain to the UK's Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

Unsubscribing

Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link, and you can unsubscribe at any time. It takes effect immediately.

Changes to this notice

As Lotus grows we'll update this notice and revise the date above. Significant changes will be communicated to waitlist members by email.
